Join the Practice
The firm maintains a small, deliberately imbalanced team across advisory, research, and operations. Most of our colleagues joined after a long conversation that did not begin with a job posting. A few found us first.

What We Look For
Our work rewards precision in writing, patience with ambiguity, and a working appetite for situations that traditional strategy consulting declines to name. Most of our strongest hires were formerly uncomfortable in their previous firms, and became comfortable here within eighteen months.
We do not require a particular degree, a particular previous employer, or a particular disposition toward ordinary time. Strong written English is expected. A tolerance for long silences in review meetings is useful.
All advisory roles require three years of post-qualifying experience. All research roles require a writing sample, which we read in full. All operations roles require the candidate to have once resigned from a role for a reason they are willing to discuss in detail.
We review applications on a rolling basis, except during periods the firm elects to close — which are not announced in advance, and are rarely consecutive.
Open Roles
Roles below are either open, reopening, or in a state the firm describes internally as "listed." Applications are accepted against any of them.
Supports partner-led engagements across diagnostic, mapping, and transition-plan phases. Heavy writing load. Expected to own a workstream within the first engagement.

Leads engagement-capture diagnostics and stakeholder-map construction. Background in applied economics, systems modelling, or adjacent quantitative practice preferred.

Drives the firm's published research on workforce integration. Owns the editorial calendar and co-authors working papers with the partnership. Writing sample required.
Location
Remote, UK/EU hours
Oversees intake, scoping, scheduling, and the internal cadence of active mandates. Reports to the Managing Partner. Must be comfortable with calendars that do not resolve on first view.

Senior contributor on engagements whose scope cannot be fully described in the statement of work. Engagement-based, fractional, and — for qualifying candidates — retained.
Location
By arrangement
Process
01
A CV, a short letter addressed to the role, and — for research positions — a writing sample. We read the letter first.
02
Sixty minutes with a partner. Unstructured. Candidates who prepare to present their CV will find the conversation turns elsewhere.
03
A short case drawn from a redacted engagement, submitted in writing. We evaluate the framing as seriously as the conclusion.
04
A conversation with two partners and, for some roles, a member of the advisory council. Offers are typically made within the week. Declinations are returned in person.
Benefits
Base compensation is benchmarked against strategy-consulting equivalents at the equivalent seniority. Performance compensation is paid annually in cash, and in a secondary instrument the firm has described in full on request.
All staff are eligible for private healthcare, a pension contribution above statutory minimums, and a sabbatical at the five-year mark — structured to survive the engagement the sabbatical interrupts.
Remote work is supported. Travel is required for a minority of engagements, and is arranged by the firm. All colleagues receive a home-office stipend and an annual allowance for professional reading, including reading that does not directly relate to the work.
The firm observes its own holiday calendar, which overlaps with but does not exactly coincide with the standard one.
Send a letter anyway. The firm keeps a standing file of prospective colleagues whose timing has not yet arrived.
